Gravytrain FC have got there new season started with a bang as they remain unbeaten after their first 2 games. There 2 new signings Bomber and Harry the frontman have seemed to have a big influence on the team who are now playing some lovely flowing football on the same scale as Man Utd and Barcelona.
There opponents were a very young side that looked quite quick but lacked in the strength department. The first half kicked off with Gravytrain FC playing the youngsters off the park with there lovely fluent football. Goals from Ryan Copeland and Alex Taylor gave the Gravy Granules a 3-1 lead going into the break.
The second half kicked off with Gravytrain starting slow as the youngsters came on the attack looking to get something from the game. After some very rare sloppy defending from Ryan Copeland the youngsters nicked the ball from him after a terrible firstĀ touch from CopelandĀ and put it in the net. 3-2!. This kicked the Gravy’s up the arse and they really got going. Second half goals from Harry and Alex Taylor gave the Gravytrain FC the 3 points at the end of the 40 minutes. 6-3 the final score.
A special mention must be given to Alex Taylor who played an absolute blinder and bagging himself a hat trick in the process. He proved to hot for the opposing defence to handle. Also stand in keeper Andrew played just as well building up his confidence and throwing the ball at the opposing team only to receive it straight back!
Fans will be pleased to hear that Kevin Taylor made an appearence at the game looking fitter than ever after his recent marathon and should be back with the squad for there next game against Unassigned!
Up the Gravytrain FC!
