Gravytrain Limited FC’s game was called off last night due to 75% of the team pulling out with rubbish excuses!! Ryan Copeland, Will Martinez and Richard Bunce were the only 3 players raring to go, however 3 on 6 is not a fair match up.
A spokesman for the Gravytrain FC supporters club has this to say “I am absolutely disgusted! I come to watch the Gravy’s every week come rain or shine and now I have nothing to do on a wednesday evening! Its an outrage!”
Player chairman of Gravytrain FC, Kevin Taylor had this to say “We apologise to our dedicated fans, however last night I had tickets to a concert that I just couldn’t miss. My commitment has been doubted over recent weeks because of my long distance running and to be honest I dont care. I own this club! I run this club! So I will play when I want to. Come on the Gravytrain!”
The Irony of Kevin’s commitment is that the band he went to see in concert last night are called ‘The Commitments’! Football is a funny old game!!
